{Swirl Pops}

26 Oct

Good morning lovelies! I hope everyone is having a FAB Friday so far.

I wanted to stop in today and tell you about a great local (to the lower mainland) baker! I got in touch with Nicole Jackin’s, creater of {Swirl Pops} after I appeared on Recipe to Riches. She was just one of the lovely people that sent me a sweet encouraging message. Nicole told me that she had auditioned in Vancouver as well for Recipe to Riches and got a golden ticket too! Unfortunately, she did not make it any further than that, but she didn’t let that get her down.

Nicole started {Swirl Pops} which is a bakery that makes delicious cake pops. The best thing about it, is that she doesn’t just make regular old vanilla and chocolate pops, she swirls in every flavor under the sun! UM hello, Orange Creamsicle, Coconut Cream Pie and Chocolate Salted Caramel Bacon, plus many, many, more!

I just thought her story was great, I responded to her email and asked if she would be okay with me writing a little blurb about her company and posting it on Miss Delish! Nicole loved the idea and she even brought me over some {Swirl Pops} to photograph and ahemmmm…TASTE.

When she brought them by to me she mentioned that the reason she wanted to make them organic, is that last year her son was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, he is cancer free now, however the surgery that he had was very traumatic, and he ended up having a lot of allergies once he recovered. Nicole decided at that point to go totally organic so she made sure she was feeding her children with the best food possible. She also wanted to make sure that her son was included in fun family events like Birthdays, when he wouldn’t be able to eat cake because of his allergies. Therefore Nicole set out on a mission to make fun and delicious {Swirl Pops} that everyone can enjoy!

Nicole currently has a billion flavors. Okay maybe not a billion, but a lot! She also offers dairy and gluten free {Swirl Pops} as well!

I got to try her Classic Vanilla {Swirl Pop} Dipped in Dark Chocolate! and by {Swirl Pop} I mean heaven on a stick, and when I say “pop” I mean “pops.” 5 to be exact. They were soo yummy. You totally got the flavor of the white chocolate in the cake, and then the crunchy chocolate coating, YUM. I could eat 8 or 15 of those babies.

If you live in the local area, check out her Facebook here! She has a PDF menu as well which I am apparently not technologically advanced enough to attach to this post.

Yum. That is all.

Go see Nicole, she’s an awesome person and she makes tasty treats!

    Hi. I just want to say (and no offense to the other guy) I thought your dessert looked way better and should have won R2R. I wish you great success for the future an hopefully you can get on the grocery shelves one day.
