Good Morning Everyone! I hope you are all having a great Wednesday so far.
This weekend was our Canadian Thanksgiving and I know I for one, am still stuffed. I haven’t been able to eat a full meal since our big dinner on Sunday night. Mostly just eating snacks and little bowls of leftovers here and there.
We made an amazing dinner as I talked about before and I will do a big post tomorrow all about it. I am going to include recipes for everything, some were borrowed recipes but most of them we made up ourselves. Hopefully some of you will be able to grab some ideas for your American Thanksgiving next month or maybe for next year.
For now I am posting a recipe I made last week and I hope you all enjoy it because Mr. Delish and I decided that we’re only eating vegetables for the next week.
I’m putting my money on Chris breaking down and eating some form of bacon before tomorrow evening.
Tonight I’m planning on making a vegetarian dish that I will be able to share later on too!
For now though, we eat chicken.
Crunchy Paprika Chicken Drumsticks:
6 chicken drumsticks
1 cup plain greek yogurt
2 cups Panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup butter, sliced into 6 pieces
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier clean up.
Dip the chicken pieces into the yogurt and coat well. Set aside for a moment.
In a large ziplock bag add the Panko, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder. Seal and shake until combined.
One by one, drop each drumstick into the panko/seasoning mix and shake to coat. Remove and place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining drumsticks.
Once all the chicken is coated and placed on the baking sheet, top each piece of chicken with a square of butter.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through.
Serve hot and enjoy!
